Southern Railway will run summer special trains 2012 between Coimbatore & Rameswaram in April, May & June 2012. Here are the full details about the special trains for Coimbatore and Rameswaram.

Coimbatore – Rameswaram – Coimbatore Weekly Specials:

T.No.06010 Coimbatore – Rameswaram Special will leave Coimbatore at 19.45 hrs. on Saturdays from 7 April 2012 to 23 June 2012 and arrive Rameswaram at 07.00 hrs. the next day.

T.No.06009 Rameswaram – Coimbatore Special will leave Rameswaram at 19.00 hrs. on Sundays from 8 April 2012 to 24 June 2012 and arrive Coimbatore at 05.00 hrs. the next day.

The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.The trains will stop at Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Pudukkottai, Chettinad, Karaikkudi, Devakottai Road, Kallal, Sivaganga, Manamadurai, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram and Mandapam. T.No.06009 will stop at Coimbatore North also.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on March 3, 2012.
