Gujarat SSC Board has introduced grading system in SSC results 2011. Grading is done based on the total marks secured by the student. It is also done depending on percentile rank of the student. For example there are 60 students in a class and one student has secured 92 marks while other 54 students have secured 91 or fewer marks, then 54 divided by 60 into 100 = 90 marks is percentile rank.

Here is the table of grading system based on the percentile rank:

75-80 – B1 – 08

62-70 – B2 – 07

51-60 – C1 – 06

45-50 – C2 – 05

33-40 – D – 04

21-32 – E1
