Polling for Manipur Assembly elections 2012 will be held on 28 January 2012. The polling will be done for all MLA seats (60 Assembly constituencies) on this day. The counting of votes and the results will be announced on 6 March 2012. In the present assembly Congress Party (INC) holds 30 seats, MPP (Manipur People’s Party) has 5 seats, BJP – none, Independents – 10 seats and others 15 seats.
