MTNL has launched Mobile TV service in India. Mobile TV service of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) is offering 50 live channels and video on demand. Delivered through a partnership with the mobile value added service provider DigiVive, nexGTv is available to both 2G and 3G MTNL mobile subscribers with compatible handsets.

MTNL’s Mobile TV offers a range of TV channels encompassing entertainment, news, reality shows, religious, and popular regional content. The video on demand service also includes ‘special scenes’ from the much loved TV serial Mahabharata.

About the tariff and plans – the nexGTv service will be priced at INR 99 per month, 35 per week, or INR 8 per day for the full complement of channels.
