Ingredients to prepare shankarpali:
1 ¼ cup sugar, 5 cup wheat flour, ½ cup milk, 3tbsp rice flour, ½ cup water, ½ cup unsalted butter, pinch of salt, oil
Method to prepare shankarpali:
- Add milk with water.
- In a small bowl, beat unsalted butter with sugar till it turns fluffy.
- Add salt with flours and mix well. Prepare soft dough using milk-water mixture.
- Divide dough into 3 balls. Prepare thick chapattis. Cut them into diamond shaped pieces.
- Heat oil in pan and deep fry these pieces.
